Cape Ann Museum Summer Celebration

Art

While roaming around the grounds of the Cape Ann Museum Green and sipping under the tent, hundreds of happy partygoers and cultural enthusiasts gathered to support the museum. Board Chair Charles Esdaile reminded guests that our region has "the biggest stories in American art to tell, and they all started right here." Director Oliver Barker generated another rousing response from the crowd with his announcement of the museum's Edward Hopper Exhibit, slated for 2023.

The ambience of easy chat among friends and new acquaintances, the melt in your mouth envelope of fried clams, the music beat in the background, and a preview of new exhibit Learning to Swim - all combined into a sweet night of delight in Cape Ann.

Partygoers in photos include Karen Ristuben, Lisa Ann Schraffa Santin, artist James Paradis, artist and CAM Board Member Judi Rotenberg, Lyn Shields, CAM Director Oliver Barker, CAM Board Chair Charles Esdaile, Ricardo Fernandez, Andrew Spindler, Ann Pulver, CAM Education Manager Miranda Aisling, CAM Board Member William Ellery James.
