Lanes Coven Company Takes Final Bow as Macbeth Closes on Windhover Stage

Completing their second season, the new Lanes Coven Theater Company further enriched their brand of Shakespeare, delivered with a new attitude. To include highly choreographed staging, a bawdy young spirit, a blend of the contemporary and classical, always with fealty to the Bard's language. The actor's swords moved swiftly up and down the center aisle under Windhover's tent, but only one decapitation was recorded that night. Well done!

Lanes Coven long term goal: To become the North Shore's premier, outdoor Shakespeare Company.

Justin Genna, director and Lanes Coven co-artistic director, along with Lily Narbonne, provided previews of forthcoming work.

After the bows, Lady Macbeth and Lord Macbeth recover their humility, clean hands, and one head. But will most likely seek counseling.
